High Fructose Corn Syrup:

What Is It?

-HFCS (High Fructose corn Syrup) is a sweetener made from corn.
-Made up of glucose and fructose
-Contains either 42 percent or 55 percent fructose with the remaining sugars being glucose and other higher sugars.

How Is It Bad

-Fructose does not break down when eaten so it goes to down the same way it looked when it went in.
-Fructose also helps add to your weight.
-Can cause you to have a chance in getting diabetes.
-Can cause blood clots
-Can damage the liver
-Weakens the immune system
-It can stand in the way with our heart and what it needs
